KAPAR (May 3, 2013): Barisan Nasional promised to build a hospital and a new police headquarters in Kapar if they win the election.
Selangor BN election director Datuk Seri Najib Razak said the new BN
state government will also upgrade the main artery of Northern Klang,
Jalan Meru and the Meru Market to elevate the standards of living for
the people.
"The hospital will be built on a Sime Darby land here.
"All the additions to our 'akujanji' (manifesto) are made by the
Bukit Raja BN division chaired by Datuk Abdul Rahman Palil," he said
during the launching of the Sime Darby Bandar Bukit Raja Affordable
Homes today.
Sime Darby will build 321 units of phase one two-storey terrace
houses here under the 1Malaysia people housing (PR1MA) initiative with
the total of 2,080 units in the township by 2016. The maximum selling
price is set at RM380,000.
Najib said BN has always been clear in their intention to build one
million affordable houses in five years as opposed to Pakatan Rakyat
(PR) who only promised 150,000 houses in their manifesto.
He said this proves that BN is really in for the people as they
refused to bow down to the market price by making sure house prices
under PR1MA is less than RM400,000.
"The affordable houses could also spur personal wealth as the house price will increase up to 100% in the future," he said.
Najib took the opportunity to campaign for the election by asking the
people to choose the side that could give 'credible' vision to the
people.
"Selangor is extremely important for us in the implementation of the National Transformational Policy.
"That is why we name our manifesto 'akujanji' to state our intention to serve the people," he said.
