KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak arrived at Istana Negara here around noon Wednesday to get consent from Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah to form the new Cabinet.
Najib arrived at 11.55am for his audience with the Agong and to present the list of candidates for Cabinet positions.
He left at 12.30pm after getting the King's consent.
The announcement of Cabinet ministers is scheduled for 5pm at the Prime Minister's Office in Putrajaya.
In
the 13th general election held on May 5, Barisan Nasional won 133 out
222 parliament seats to form the new federal government.
