PEKAN, May 4 (Bernama) -- Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said
through the 1Malaysia philosophy, the country's multi-racial community
is given fair, equitable and inclusive allocation as well as necessary
attention by the government.
He said this policy and philosophy contributed to social and
socio-economic justice which had ensured peace and wellbeing for all.
"Through this policy and philosophy, the rich are given a chance to
continue prospering while the poor are given assistance," he said at the
official opening of an additional wing at the SJK (C) Pekan, Saturday.
On education, the Prime Minister said each individual and community was
given the freedom to choose their education without hindrance.
He said Malaysia was the only country, besides China and Hong Kong,
which allowed Chinese school education and national type Chinese schools
were even given the necessary aid.
Meanwhile, the ceremony's committee chairman, Tay Tick Long, thanked the
BN government for continuous commitment in increasing the need of
Chinese school education.
"The assistance provided by the government is also shared by all races
because Malays and Indians also attend the school besides the Chinese,"
he said.

additional three-storey building in 2008 and it started being used in
2010.
