KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Najib Razak today voiced his concern over the escalating violence in Egypt, calling on all sides to cease hostilities immediately.
“We are disturbed by reports of violence against protesters in Egypt
and call on the authorities to exercise restraint,” the prime minister
said in a statement.
“Any civilian casualties are deeply regrettable. We urge all parties to
cease hostilities immediately and work towards a peaceful resolution.”
