Day 1, 20 April 2013 - Nomination Day: Kick-starting the Campaign

I started my campaign with the submission of my candidate nomination form at Dewan Sultan Ahmad Shah, Pekan, Pahang where I will be defend my Parliamentary seat. It is my hope that Barisan Nasional (BN) will be given the mandate this coming GE13.

GE13: Najib meets BN reps ahead of nomination day

KUALA LUMPUR: While all eyes are on the Election Commission to announce the dates for the 13th general election, at the Putra World Trade Centre, Barisan Nasional chief Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak is conducting a special briefing for the coalition's elected representatives.

The meeting is being held to re-emphasise the importance of unity and cohesion among coalition members in the run-up to the general election.

Najib is expected to remind Barisan elected representatives who may be dropped to continue supporting the coalition.
