KUALA LUMPUR, May 3 — Following is the gist of the interview with Datuk Seri Najib Razak in the programme ‘Mandat 2013’ aired on TV3 tonight:

A big mandate to the BN from the people is important for the
government to realise the vision to turn Malaysia into a developed
nation within the next seven years.

BN has a good chance of winning a two-thirds majority in the 13th general election (GE13).
- There are indications that the people are
beginning to return to the BN especially in the states administered by
the opposition following better support for the coalition and the
improved condition of living compared to the past.

Sabah and Sarawak remain as strong fortresses for the BN despite the relentless attacks by the opposition pact.
