KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 17 (Bernama) -- Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak hoped that
the collaboration between the Kedah Football Association (KFA) and
English Premier League's Cardiff City FC could also strengthen the sport
on a national scale.
"I hope the collaboration between the Kedah FA and Cardiff City FC will strengthen the sport at the national level," the Prime Minister said on Twitter Saturday.
Two days ago, KFA and Cardiff City FC signed a memorandum of understanding to improve the performance and management of the state football team.
The KFA was represented by its honorary secretary and treasurer Aminuddin Omar while Cardiff City was represented by its director Datuk Lye Ek Seang.
