Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said he was looking forward
to meeting his British counterpart David Cameron on Thursday.
Najib, who is on a four-day working visit to the UK, noted that the two countries have both begun looking to each other for greater investment opportunities and business growth.
"And we have set a challenging target to jointly achieve RM26 billion of bilateral trade by 2016.
"That's double from what we currently enjoy from the good trading relationship we have together," he said on his Facebook account.
Najib said a first step towards this goal will be the launch of the Battersea Power Station project, which is being jointly developed by SP Setia Bhd, Sime Darby Bhd and the Employees Provident Fund.
"I'm confident that other ambitious partnerships will follow," he added. - Bernama, July 3, 2013.
