Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Ismail Omar led the way by being among the first to cast his vote, as policemen all over the country cast their votes at police contingents nationwide.
Starting from 8.30am, excited policemen lined up in Bukit Aman's Mass Hall and Dewan Perkep.
Ismail, when met after casting his vote, said the police was honoured to be part of history in using the indelible ink.
