THE Federation of Chinese Associations in
Malaysia (Huazong) wants Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak's administration to
be given a fresh mandate to lead the country to ensure stability and
healthy economic growth.
Huazong Deputy Secretary General-cum-Chairman of the Strategy
Research Committee, Prof Dr Chin Yew Sin, said since Najib took over as
Prime Minister in April 2009, he had made bold and innovative changes to
ensure Malaysia achieved its vision of becoming a developed and
high-income nation by 2020.
He said the significant achievements of the Government Transformation
Programme (GTP) and Economic Transformation Programme (ETP) since its
introduction, reflected the deep commitment of the Barisan Nasional (BN)
administration in achieving the goal.
"We should give them (BN) a chance to continue leading the country as
they have a proven track record and deserve to be given the mandate to
go on implementing all projects under the ETP," he told Bernama.
